Fun and educational activities with our children are the core of the MOMS Club. Every month we have a calendar and newsletter full of them! Activities provide a great way for moms with similar interests to get acquainted. Once you become a member, you will receive a monthly calendar and newsletter via email or mail.

Most activities are held during the day. You are invited to participate in as many as you would like. Please feel free to suggest or host your own activity. Some examples include: children events at The Wildlife Experience, a day at the park, Denver Zoo, Party On, Coffee & Conversation at a member's home, new member breakfasts, story time at the Parker Library, ice-cream socials, holiday parades, and much more!

MOMS Club of Parker-Southeast activities are too numerous to list . Plus, new activities are always being added to the calendar. There are, however, several activities that occur on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.). They include:

Art and Craft Days
Once a month a member will host a craft day for the kids, often centered around a holiday or special something. Crafts will likely be messy, so bring a change of clothes or a smock to wear. A craft bin is available for use during this monthly event.

Coffee & Conversation
Spend a morning among friends sipping coffee and enjoying conversation. Coffee & Conversations are held at a member's home and are open to children of any age. A light breakfast is often provided. "Twists" may include a book/magazine swap or a seasonal activity.

Friday Afternoon Club
Moms bring your children for an afternoon chat over a beverage and snack.  Moms may choose to meet at a member's home, coffee shop or a restaurant. We try to set a time to also include moms with school age children.

Joint Activities
MOMS Club of Parker-Southeast, MOMS Club of Parker-Northeast, and MOMS Club of Parker-West occasionally host joint activities. Two of these clubs, or sometimes all three, will host a joint activity to be held at a larger venue. Some examples include: a meeting with the Mayor, Belleview Park, Gymboree, a neighborhood pool or a potluck lunch.

Meet & Greet
Meet & Greets provide a great opportunity to visit with members, meet new members, and to meet or chat with the MOMS Club of Parker-Southeast board. Meeting places vary, but usually include drinks, snacks or even a potluck lunch!

Mom’s Night Out
Every mom needs an escape from their busy family life. Each month we plan an exciting and informal night out just for moms. Some outings may include: dinner at a local restaurant, movie night at a local theater, pottery painting, manicure and pedicure night, or a game night.

Monthly Social Meetings
Social meetings are held during the first week of each month. They include, socializing, introductions, and a brief business meeting to discuss and vote on upcoming events. The social meeting is also an opportunity for members to volunteer to host events for the upcoming month. Guest speakers are often invited to share information of interest to members. You may either keep your children with you at the meeting or bring them to the "kids room", where volunteer moms supervise children while they play with toys, read books, draw, color, and have fun.

Open Playgroup
Calling children of all ages! Lets play together, meet new friends, and have fun while moms socialize. This is a great opportunity to meet other members and let children make new friends. Typically an open playgroup is held at a member's home or at a nearby park.

Playgroups
We have many playgroups on our calendar each month. They typically meet once per week on a set day and time chosen by the individual playgroup. Meeting places include local parks, a members home, fun play areas, coffee houses, and kid-friendly restaurants. If a new playgroup is needed, you can contact the playgroup coordinator and let her know what day and time you would like to start a new playgroup, and whether that playgroup will be open to certain ages or children of all ages. We'll put it on the calendar and list you as the coordinator and then members can contact you if they are interested in joining. Once you meet as a group, decide on a name for your group and what size you want to keep the playgroup to.

Recipe Exchange
Calling all cooks! Bring a favorite dish and copies of the recipe to this delicious activity. Recipe exchanges can consist of appetizers, desserts, or even breads and soups. You'll leave will a full stomach and some great new ideas to share with your family.

Walking Club
Walkers and Bikers: Moms and children ride bikes, tag along in strollers, ride in wagons and enjoy the nice weather. We meet at local parks and bike trails in the spring and summer months. During the winter we might even meet for a mall walk.
