Welcome to the MOMS Club® of Parker-Southeast. We are a chapter of the International MOMS Club, a non-profit network of support groups for stay-at-home moms and their children. The MOMS Club was established in 1983 by stay-at-home mom, Mary B. James. The first local chapter was in Simi Valley, California. The purpose was to meet other at-home moms and to find other at-home children to play with. The MOMS Club of Parker was formed in June 2002 by Anne Parker. The chapter grew from seven members to 50 members by February 2003. At that time the club's board members began to come up with a plan to ‘sister’ a new chapter with the division line being Parker Road. The official MOMS Club of Parker-East and MOMS Club of Parker-West split took place on July 1, 2003. The Parker-East group grew so large that in July 2006 they, again, split into two groups, creating a total of three MOMS Club groups in Parker…Northeast, Southeast, and West. We understand that staying home to raise children is a significant, exciting, fulfilling, and challenging full-time job. We meet during the day, with the exception of a few activities. Our chapter welcomes all moms who are looking for fun activities, friendship, and support. Of course, this would include moms who stay at home with their children full-time, run home-based businesses, and have alternative work schedules or work part-time outside the home. We have no limit on the child’s age; mothers with infants and school-age children are welcome.
